An opportunity has arisen to work in one of the Capitals leading 5* hotels. The property has just over 360 bedrooms and 8 C&B rooms including a large ballroom. The hotel has its own famous fine ding restaurant which is marketed separately and has ample catering facilities.
The role is very much to run the sales and marketing department and be responsible for proactive and reactive sales efforts including developing and managing on property sales staff and driving conference & incentive specialist sales. You will communicate the hotels sales strategy and ensures that all the sales staff execute against the sales strategy. You will be responsible for achieving individual conference & incentive sales goals and account management, leading, motivating and directing sales activities.
Skills for this role will include to name a few:- Excellent selling skills and understanding of sales processes, Strong people management skills, Proven ability in group sales process and related strategies , Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies , Ability to identify and communicate revenue and profit opportunities and understanding of brand strategies and cultures.
